Legal
Photographer Agreement
Last updated 8 September 2026
This document is provided for information and is not legal advice.
This agreement applies to every photographer approved to publish and sell on Link2Pics, and is in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
You keep your rights
You remain the author and copyright owner of everything you upload. Nothing here transfers ownership of your photographs to Link2Pics.
Licence you grant to Link2Pics
You grant Link2Pics a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, for as long as your content is on the platform, to store your files, generate previews and watermarked versions, resize and re-encode them for display, publish them in your galleries and on category, search and photo pages, promote them on the site and on social media using watermarked previews only, and to sell full-resolution downloads to customers on your behalf under the customer licence in our Terms.
You can withdraw a photo or gallery at any time. Licences already granted to customers who bought a photo before withdrawal continue.
Permissions and clearances are your responsibility
You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to publish and sell each photo, including any model releases, permissions from parents or guardians where minors appear, property or venue releases, event or accreditation permissions, and clearance for trademarks, artwork or logos shown.
You are responsible for complying with the privacy and image-rights law that applies where the photo was taken.
Prohibited content
Do not upload content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, exploitative of minors, hateful or harassing, deceptive, or that infringes someone else's rights. Do not upload photos you did not take or do not control.
Pricing, packs and coupons
You set the base price of your galleries and photos, and you may create pack discounts and coupons for your own galleries. Prices, discounts and coupons are always recalculated on our servers at checkout, and that calculation is what the customer pays and what your earnings are based on.
Earnings ledger
When an order is confirmed as paid, Link2Pics writes one earnings entry per purchased photo to your ledger, recording the order, the photo, the gross amount actually paid for that item, any platform fee, and your net amount. Your dashboard totals are calculated from that ledger.
Link2Pics does not currently apply a platform commission: the platform fee on each entry is zero and your net amount equals the amount actually paid for the item. If a commission is introduced in the future we will tell contributing photographers before it takes effect, and it will apply only to sales made afterwards.
Refunds and chargebacks
If an order is fully refunded, the related earnings entries are reversed and the customer's download access is withdrawn. If an order is partly refunded, the affected entries are reduced in proportion to the amount refunded and flagged for review so the adjustment can be checked. Refunds and chargebacks therefore reduce your balance.
Payouts
You can request a payout of your available balance, which is your ledger net total minus payouts already requested or paid. Requests are reviewed and paid manually, and we may hold a payout while an order is disputed or under review, or where we need identity or tax information.
Taxes
You are an independent contributor, not an employee, and you are responsible for reporting and paying any tax due on your earnings, and for providing tax information we are legally required to collect.
Takedown, suspension and termination
We may remove content or suspend selling privileges where we receive a credible rights complaint, where content breaks this agreement, or where activity looks fraudulent. Either side can end this agreement at any time; earnings already validly accrued remain payable, and sales, refund and accounting records are retained.
